There’s nothing better than chilling on a beach with a cold beer, so we were pretty disappointed to find that the Kingfisher wasn’t going down as well as it should, in fact dare I say it, the Kingfisher over here makes a pint of Carling look good. Kings Black Label is a Goan brewed beer, and is only found in the ‘Sunshine State’, saying that it can be quite difficult to find, even in Goa. This pale golden beer had a distinctively smokey aroma along with a slight ricey after taste, and was a relief to drink rather than the over glycerined Kingfisher. At only 80p for a bottle of Kings I got my hands on one whenever I could, however due to this being pretty hard to find I can only give Kings a 2.5 pint award.

2.5 star beer
